We have submitted all necessary paperwork and are waiting to see if we get non-profit status. We have our board of directors, our mission statement and are in the process of applying for grants to assist us in securing space and equipment so we can get started.
Currently, we are seeking folks to help with teaching musical instruments, and reading music. If you are in the Washington, DC metro area and you wish to donate time, instruments or money, please contact us via email with your resume and references. Send eMail
Please note: It is our hope to be able to offer All Instructors a stipend at some time in the future. However, the amount will be based on funds remaining after all operating expenses are satisfied.

Great news, Children’s World of Music is officially starting with an open house Information meeting on July 6, 2013. If your child is interested in learning about, playing or singing music, join us at 1402 Richie Marlboro Rd, Capital Heights, Md 20743 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. We have had 2 bake sales which were successful in that we made some money. The bake sales will be a monthly event during NuSoul Collective’s monthly event Soul Sippin in the DC metro area to support and promote Independent Artists. The next event is scheduled for October 19 2013 at Anacostia Art Gallery located at 2806 Bruce Pl SE, Washington DC 20020 from 12;00 pm – 3 pm. The event is always the third Saturday of each month unless otherwise stated. You can keep up with event and live performances via their Facebook event page. We hope to see your face in the place.

Praise God, we have finally completed tweaking our documents and we are now ready to apply for grants.
